Raptorridge chardonnay

Chardonnay 2015

Raptor Ridge

This balanced wine was barrel fermented, with just 10% new oak, the remainder neutral. To create a creamy, round texture, regular lees stirring was employed. Malolactic fermentation contributed balanced acidity. The resulting wine has a creamy and round texture and mouthfeel, yet is still very clean and crisp, focused on the ripe citrus spectrum.

Reviews

  • "90 points. Light and polished, showing pretty pear, pineapple and cream flavors framed by a delicately nubby texture, finishing with precision. Drink now through 2020. 175 cases made." (Wine Spectator)
