Reviews

  • "91 points. The 2008 Pieza el Caldero is composed of 96% Aragon and 4% Garnacha Roja over 70 years of age. It was aged for 12 months in American oak before bottling without filtration. A bit less exuberant than the Pieza el Coll (but also a bit more complex), it offers up greater density and structure along with plenty of ripe, succulent fruit. It is likely to evolve for 1-2 years and will provide much pleasure through 2018." (Robert Parker)
