Sineann pinotnoir

Pinot Noir, Oregon 2014

Sineann

The wine is very dark, aromatic and has great natural acidity. At this stage of development, most of its character is in a long, long finish - a good sign for the future of the wine! 2014 was a very good vintage for us. The balance and intensity of this wine demonstrates this beautifully. The wine should age for a very long time. At this point, bottles we open improve for weeks.

Reviews

  • "91 points. Editors' Choice. Wonderfully aromatic and packed with flavor, this outstanding value opens lightly spicy with zingy raspberry fruit. It's like a tart jam, with citrus-peel highlights peeking through in the sappy finish." (Wine Enthusiast)
  • "90 points. Brilliant red. Aromas of ripe red berries and spicecake, along with a hint of candied rose in the background. A lively, appealingly sweet midweight that features juicy raspberry and cherry flavors and a hint of white pepper. Plush and supple in texture, showing good clarity on a long, smooth, red-fruit-dominated finish that features very subtle tannins." (vinous)
