Reviews

  • "93 points. With Antonio Castagnedi’s signature on the bottle, the 2010 Amarone della Valpolicella Selezione is one of the best Amarones currently available from the excellent 2010 vintage. Its appearance is dark and extracted and the bouquet opens to spicy plum cake, dark prune, wet earth, dried rose and supple shades of used leather or suede. The wine feels plump and thick in the mouth with a long, voluptuous finish. That wonderful balance between acidity and structure promises a successful aging future. Drink 2015-2025." (Wine Advocate)
