Sineann sauvignonblancw

Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough 2012

Sineann

The fruit comes from the Roberts Vineyard in the Awatere Valley. An off-shoot of the Wairau Valley, Sauvignon Blanc from this gravelly area tends more towards tropical fruits while retaining bracing acidity - which certainly describes this wine! The particular qualities of the 2012 Sineann Marlborough SB that captivates are the sheer intensity of fruit on the palate and the richness of the finish - along with the beautiful natural acidity. We attribute the remarkable fruit and lengthy finish to the special care the fruit receives. This is a rare, hand-harvested New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, cluster-sorted and carefully pressed by people who care. It makes a difference!
